Hello! I’m Sue Ellen Riese and I’m happy that you’ve stumbled upon this place where I share a little bit of my world…
You will read about all kinds of things here but mostly about my love of knitting, sewing, gardening and life with my husband Ron and our blue heeler Abby.
I learned to knit from my great-grandmother many years ago but took a hiatus for about 40 years to focus on my career. I have since rediscovered it as my source of great stress relief and diversion from this hectic world.
I hail from Iowa but moved to Minnesota over 35 years ago.
I try to knit every day if I can or find my inspiration by creating beautiful things on my vintage 1954 Singer Featherweight, digging in the dirt and striving toward a slower, simpler life.
Thank you for visiting and I hope you come back often.
